Why Social Media Should Not Influence Men’s Style Decisions?

In today’s world of Social Media and the rise of Artificial Intelligence(AI), men are finding it difficult to be real to themselves and just let go of comparison, notifications popping up and the issue of being left behind on current trends since AI and technology are sort of controlling our daily lifestyles.

This blog post will outline only 2 major reasons as to why social media should not determine and control men’s daily style choices. Plus, I as a Mens Fashion Blogger want to advice men to be Authentic and dress for themselves which is what matters at the end of the day because AI recently is creating false illusions about men and women’s decisions and it’s not good to let AI influence your life choices besides deciding what to wear..

  • 1) Social media is not the full story hence men need to select dress codes their hearts yearn for to be able to experience Dopamine Dressing

One reason as to why social media should not determine a man”s style decisions, is because of this researched term called “Dopamine Dressing ” which in simple terms means selecting styles that evoke emotions of happiness and joy enabling men to feel on form and confident overall when tackling life challenges. Dopamine Dressing is not for the rich and famous but for a man eager to achieve success. For example, certain goals need dress codes that will unlock those goals, like a Business Casual Style, its affordable and needs only a Blazer not a Suit since suits are quality elegant pieces that cost more money.

Styles like Business casual are the go too because they need simple colors such as black, grey and blue since the easily layer with jeans and for a professional appearance, a fitted Blazer is a must and shoes are optional but all Black and White easily make the style simple compared to an expensive shoe a man has seen online or a famous shoe advertising companies have promoted. The key is to just keep the Dress Code authentic like yourself and not use Social media to manipulate your mind about what to wear.

  • 2) Social media creates constant comparison due to rise of AI resulting in men experiencing depression privately when looking at what other men are wearing

Depression is a silent destroyer and an enemy of progress hence some men in these days of AI and digital technology are just losing themselves in the process as a result of Social media usability. A real man understands that life is not about showing off, been seeing or praised but a man who is mature spends life developing himself or being the Alpha Make who is focused and disciplined in these days where distractions are fuelled by social media which must be ignored. By the way, a man can be anything he wants only if he dresses for it (A quote by Edith Head)

So Please Gentlemen, Ponder about social media and be aware of its dark and. Have a great Monday! End of Blog!

Totally agree, it’s a bad idea to compare ourselves (for both men and women) to people on social media. Due to editing, AI, and other tools, what we see on SM isn’t even reality. Plus, clothes should showcase ones own style and personality rather than just doing what we see everyone else do. Great post!
