Dressing for people leads to lack of self control

Men like myself are human beings and they are people, they make mistakes and are not perfect but when it comes to dress codes, self control is a must. Dressing for people to see what you have worn, craving for attention be it in real life or social media is a really bad idea and usually the other gender, the young women fall for this trap. Men must control their minds and not make mistakes like borrowing or stealing outfits just to impress a woman for example. Just be yourself as a man and wear what you have, the right woman will appreciate that.

Dressing for people means a man does not value himself

A real man has value and that value is guarded, protected and kept in discretion or secretively. Every man has things he values in life and clothing must not be the top of the list because there is more to life than fashion and wearing expensive clothing pieces like a costly fashion brand shoe or sticking with the latest trends. Men must know that every moment of their lives is a chance to become better, to do and excel at something and to practice their skills so that they improve and make money which is what matters at the end.

Dressing should be like taking a bath, a man must only dress for his body and wash the body without letting people see what you are doing. Value is a gold thing and only valuable men are determined, serious and eager to do better everyday. It is not easy to become a man of value due to the challenges we face as men but the reality is that we try to do better and some men even sweat blood and tears for the price of success.

Thus, a real man must not dress to please people but to please himself and improve his life so that he becomes happy instead of looking at what the next person is doing.

Dressing for people means a man cannot love himself leading to unhappiness

A man must love himself and everything he has. No matter how little or small the possessions you have, a man must appreciate that and work tirelessly to win and focus on this statement “I have bigger fish to fry”

That statement of bigger fish to fry simply means men must focus on the big goals. Its 2025, some men want to achieve great goals before the end of this current year so it makes sense to work on your goals without involving people because people are unpredictable and a man must not rely on some people because some don’t care, that is the painful part.

A good man will dress in a clean way, a respectful way and in a humble way. In my view, suits and proper formal clothing sets like neckties and dress shirts always do the job in allowing men to look like they care about their appearance and that they love themselves. Hence, Tom Ford was correct when he said “Dressing well is a form of good manners”

Therefore, a man must dress for himself first and foremost plus wear dress codes that reflect his true nature and interests. Even if it is casual wear, as long as you love wearing your hoodies and other casual pieces, go for it. The ultimate goal is to love yourself as a man and to wear clothing or styles you really admire and love. I personally love formal wear and suits and ties although I like casual pieces such as T-shirts and sneakers.
