People’s opinions will always vary and each person’s mindset will differ from the next person. Men who adore clothing and like to dress cordial, classy and stylish everyday need to contemplate that dressing the part daily is a personal decision and each man has every right to dress sharp without being pulled into two directions and listening to what people think.
1. Follow your heart
Following your heart will never mislead you because you already know what style is right for you. This applies not only in fashion gentlemen but in life generally. Men who accomplish great things always follow their heart’s desires. If suits are your cup of tea, go for it gents, wear that suit and gain confidence.
2. Find clothes that fit your body size
Every man’s body size is quite different from the next man down the street. Following people’s opinions about what to wear takes man on a dead end road some people’s advice lead one astray. Hence, when planning to wear a nice outfit, it is wise to pick a style that fits your body size. If you are a thin man with a beard like me, it is good to find size small to medium because it looks on point and fits like a glove. Thus, fit is king because your outfit is narrowed into balance and looks sharp as a sword.
3. Practice dressing sharp because it nails first impressions
Indeed, first impressions count and every man does need to look the part especially when attending to key events and functions that need one to look respectful. A fitted suit for instance never disappoints in influencing people that you look like a good man. Yes, you cannot judge a book by its cover but it is wise to dress sharp for church, graduations, awards, conferences seminars, job fairs and interviews as well as key family gatherings.
4. Make it a priority to iron your clothes(People are unlikely to say or gossip badly on your style)
Usually, women are the ones who engage in gossip and talks about other people. For men, it is rare to find a bunch of men engaging in longer talks since it is not their nature. However, to avoid being bad mouthed, men must iron their clothes to ensure the style looks straightened and neat.
5. Eliminate competition
Believe it or not, there are people who still dress to outshine others. I think, the best way to compete, it is to compete with yourself without letting that drive you crazy.
6. Don’t be heavily reliant on social media for advice be yourself
Social media is the new dawn of living and some people’s lives revolve around social media. I am not saying it is bad, even I like using social media platforms but for the aim of style, men must never select an ou8tfit worn by a celebrity online rather be inspired tom dress that way without trying to be a celebrity or living someone else’s life. Be yourself, love yourself and dress for yourself every single day.

🤔 If you pay too much attention to all of those fashion bloggers on social media, you will end up spending all of your money on expensive clothing.
Ironed clothing looks way better than crumpled clothing and it also shows that you take pride in your appearance.
Compliments of the Season to you, Mthobisi.

Exactly Renard my friend. Social media has a dark side especially when it comes to advice. Hence, a man must dress for himself and I always like to wear boots and my formal clothing such as suits because I genuinely love the dress code and I am following my heart.
Thank you for sharing your valuable input and have a prosperous 2024 sir!
