Imagine this that you want to impress your in laws or let’s say you want to be likable to your new in laws what outfit comes to mind as a man? Most would state that a fitted suit is guaranteed to blow them out of the water but it takes more than the suit it is about the behavior too that comes with the way you dress.
This blog will explain why first impressions matter in business and your personal life because whether we like it or not, people make judgements all the time which are both imperfect and emotional that goes a long way to how others view you. Also, this blog post will look at the behaviours that are likable which make a positive first impression starting with the outfits.

Yes according to author Jeb Blount with his book titled “PEOPLE BUY YOU” talks about the significance of a smile and putting that smile on your face makes it easier for people to interact with you , to build relationships with you and even gain lots of customers by wearing a smile on your face as well as putting on a white dress shirt without the suit even every time you go to work or you want to impress your In-laws.
2. Being kind makes you likable as a man which makes good first impressions
Secondly, on top of putting a smile on your face, be kind as a man and the best way to do that is to just treat others in a polite manner and whatever outfit you strip on whether a suit, business casual, cocktail attire and even smart casual which are ideal outfits for making great first impressions and being kind on top of that is the real secret to winning even in the business world. Those in customer service know the urgency of being kind always to incoming customers.
3. Be respectful, polite and minding your manners creates a fantastic first impression with a proper outfit
Yes one way or the other our parents have taught us the need of minding your manners and etiquette. It is true , when people become respectful and polite they win the minda and hearts of others and yes people vary some are hell bent due to racial and societal norms outside our control we cannot change their manners but as a man with an aim to make first impressions try to dress the part and be well .mannered.
