8 Colors To Infuse Your Wardrobe With Style Ideal For Stylish Men

In as much as we love everything in our wardrobe from shoes to trousers to upper body clothing, we cannot deny the fact that colors are also our favorite spark that helps the wardrobe to look vibrant, cool, sophisticated and stylish. This blog will discuss the types of colors that must be in every stylish man’s wardrobe.

By the way, according to an article titled “Scientist discover the oldest color in the world” by Burton Bonnie through this link: http://www.cnet.com/science/scientist-discover-which-color-is-the-oldest/ , the research shows that bright pink was the first color to be discovered and the bright pink pigment is the oldest that dates back 1.1 billion years ago found in Sahara, Africa.

So, without further ado, here are the eight colors below ideal for stylish men whether their preference is casual wear or formal wear:

1. White

White is an achromatic color without a hue, it is one of the most worn colors and the majority of men have about 80% of their clothing items in white. I also love this color especially on dress shirts for formal wear, on sneakers for casual wear, t-shirts too, jeans and chino pants look serene and clean with this color. The disadvantage of this color it is that it can easily get stains and dirty so quickly.

2. Blue

Blue is also one of the oldest colors in the geological era and my personal favorite in my wardrobe. It is one of those imaginative, inspirational and trustworthy colors which make up 60% of a man’s wardrobe. Blue is perfect for formal wear specifically on suits such as a Navy Blue suit looks stable and classy on the eye. Even in casual wear, blue jeans, suede boots and T-shirts as well as denim jackets are ideal. According to http://www.supercolor.com/blog/the-meaning-of-the-color-blue/ , Blue represents trust, loyalty, wisdom and faith

3. Red

Red is also a well known color that has been circulating our wardrobe for ages. It represents danger, love and passion. Given that it is the month of love (February) most men will wear red🔴

4. Brown

Brown will usually make up 30% of the majority of a man’s wardrobe and it is a color that represents: nature, earth and sturdy color. I like brown on my shoes, watch and trousers because it looks good.

5. Green

Green is one of those colors associated with gardens, vegetables and the fields. It symbolizes or represents vigor, health, generosity, nature and good luck.

6. Black

Black is also an old color in the book and it represents class, aggressiveness and in some States it means mourning since people who wear all black are those who are attending a funeral or in mourning. It is a respectable overall which looks good in formal style.

7. Orange

Orange is a color that is associated with optimism and energy. Most brands use orange to convey a message of positivity such as “END GENDER BASED VIOLENCE” is a great example and this message can be printed on T-shirts painted with orange. This color is very casual in my view and it is ideal for summer time.

8. Grey

Grey is a neutral color in my view and it represents calmness and freshness. It is a versatile color because it matches any item in your closet, you can dress it up or dress it down depending on how you style your outfits. I like grey on blazers, suits , trousers and even shoes because it is a great matching color⚪

I agree with the color choices. Although personally, I prefer rust-colored as opposed to orange. Orange shouts too loud! Although I don’t mind red screaming at me one bit. It’s my favorite color. LOL.
