The perceptions of wearing suits men will experience

Suits are a garment that have a jacket and trouser made from the same fabric. Suits have been worn for decades by all kinds of men and for most, they only wear them during paramount events and special occasions.

I love suits and if you have been a regular follower of my blog, you have noticed my admiration and love for suits and formality. The good thing about suits it is the perceptions that come with it that men experience. These perceptions are like what people think about you and your personality. I have come across such perceptions myself in real life and I would like to share them with you, so without further ado, let us dive right in;

1. The world perceives a man in a suit as a wealthy man

Have you worn that amazing good fitted three piece suit on a random day and you hot tons of perceptions? Well I have and the people thought or perceived me as a rich young man. This perception has been around and since the manufacturing of the suit decades ago. This is because suits are seen as expensive and not every man can affordable one thus striping on a suit especially the double breasted suit that costs stupendous amounts of money, you are perceived as a man with deep pockets.

2. The world perceives you as a competent and mature man

It is easy to look mature when wearing a suit and even if it is your one and only suit, don’t be anxious about it rather take care of it and doing so will signal to the world that you are dressed like a grown up. There is this quote that goes like this “MEN HAVE CLASS AND BOYS HAVE SWAG” , that means men have the elegance when they wear suits and black tie dress codes compared to boys who are into cool trends especially the teens who like the newest stuff in the market. Thus, if you are a man between ages 18 to 30 , I suggest dressing in mature outfits such as suits and neat clothing because it makes you look better plus such garments like suits make you to appear capable of performing duties that are a bit challenging or impossible to others.

3. The world perceives a man wearing a suit as a man with directions and good priorities in life

This has happened to me innumerable times whereby my Navy Blue suit makes me to have a direction and every time I wear it, I feel grounded and focused on the direction I want to take in my life. Also, the suit grants you good priorities in the form of making a change in your life, changing the metrics from bad decisions to good decisions and letting the world know that you are hungry for success based on the clothes that you wear that sends messages to people about what type of man you look like. Change is uncomfortable yes but good changes are perceived as having directions and good priorities that matter to you.

LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS, WHAT PERCEPTIONS HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED WEARING A SUIT?

    Wearing a suit for me changes my perspective, it’s got that thing of making me feel topnotch. Confidence comes naturally and I feel free to be me. Even though I wear it in certain occasions. I know when I get in it all hell break loose.๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

        No, i don’t like suit because i look like a penguin all the time. I don’t see myself with a suit on. I like them i see them on someone else, who is able to wear it, but on me it’s no bueno. I prefer to wear something more “casual”…that helsp me to be more confident! More thant that, with a suit i have always the feeling that i have to prove myself that i am somehow worhty that suit. I don’t like that feeling. There’s always some kind of expectation when you wear a suit.
        Sorry…

    Wearing a suit carries a perception with it, for sure. All good points. I wear gym clothes as I circle the globe because I do not need to change people’s perception of me and I like wearing shorts and shirts LOL. Plus, anyone who’d judge me for fabric I’d put on my body is not my type of friend, anyway. That said, a sharp suit looks cool!

      Wow Ryan, I appreciate you leaving such a thoughtful comment in my blog. You have raised a very interesting point that someone who judges you based on the fabric you put on your body is not your friend and you are correct, people shouldn’t judge who you are based on the cloth or fabric you put on, a real friend never judges rather becomes jubilant of happy for you. That reminds me of this phrase “Never judge a book by its cover”

      Also, I am glad you go to the gym, I want to go to the gym this year and try some lifting just to keep the body in good shape.

      Thank you so much for reading and commenting๐Ÿ™Œ

    ๐Ÿ™‚ I have no issues at all with wearing a suit (It needs to be well-tailored).

    A poor-fitting suit will make you look like a pretender to the throne.

      Indeed Renard, a well fitted suit is a necessity if you want to be a stylish man. Not only suits, all your clothes must fit your body and doing so makes you to look outstanding and you are perceived as wealthy because of the fit and the way it makes you look as if you shop at expensive stores.
