Gentlemen, learn how to dress like the man you know yourself to be. I am going to cover five parts of this blog: fit, Practice putting outfits together, invest in good shoes, invest in watches and accessories and lastly your personality.
1) Fit
When dressing sharp like wearing a Suit or dressing casually, the first thing that’s a priority is getting the fit right. The trick with style is nailing the fit and you will look like a king and a modern gentleman with class. So gents be that type of a guy that nails the fit of his clothing and I assure you, you will look like a million bucks.
2) Practice putting the outfits together
Gentleman, if you want to look the part, you need to dress the part. Gents, this quote is one of the key quotes in the fashion industry. Start practicing wearing outfits. For example, you are invited to an event, let’s say a wedding and the dress code is formal wear with white and green as the theme, now as a guy who has no green in his wardrobe, it’s not the end of the world, you can bring green to your neckties and pocket squares to match the dress code theme of the event.
3) Invest in good shoes
This is probably one of the key items, as the saying goes: “never judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes. I know it doesn’t fit the with this topic of this blog but it is useful. Gents, there are a lot of shoes out there in clothing stores such as Amazon, Mr. Price, Shoptagr, Adidas etc. This have become easy during this pandemic because you can shop online and get the best deal.
For example, if you wear Suits a lot , you love Suits or you want to start wearing a Suit, you need good shoes. Start with simple things such as black shoes then move up to get brogues or brown shoes and even boots guys.
4) Invest in accessories and watches
Gentlemen, when it comes to being a modern gentleman, you need watches and accessories. It doesn’t have to be anything expensive but one that will make you punctual and on time. Lastly, accessorize by bringing it tie pins and cufflinks.
5) Personality
Gents once you have done all these things above, it now comes to your personality. How do people perceive you as a man, so your appearance enables people to make assumptions about who you are simply by Looking at your dress code.
