Trends according to me guys are totally a waste of a budget. A real man who has read my Blog for some time and applied the principles of dressing better in his life will know the difference between fashion and style. Both words do describe having a taste in clothing but they have different practical meaning.
On the other hand, classic style needs no money because this style is elegant, proper and timeless and men can just buy once classic pieces such as Blazers, jeans, suits, loafers and proper shoes and if they take good care of these items, they can also wear them for a period of 10 years.
Slowing down not only applies to shopping and budgets but also to life in general. There comes a time, when a man just has to slow down on making decisions to fully come up with the best solution to that issue or to take time to evaluate the importance of that decision and the truth is that slowing down is needed for good health because we are human beings after all.

Another reason why men need to slow down on fashion trends and stick to classic style, is because trends are not really worth the money because 3 years down the line, those clothes you bought will collect dust and you will never wear them again because they are not versatile and that is the disadvantage with trends guys, they are not going to last and will not match with other good pieces in the wardrobe.
