It is very important that men dress properly in this brutal world we live in where opportunities are very scarce to secure and where competition intensifies and the rising cost of living is chocking some to death. Men must respect themselves first before expecting the harsh world to respect you. Yes, respect is a two way street and to be easily respected even by the big guns at the top requires a man to look presentable, neat and proper by dressing properly in commonly used dress codes such as business formal, business casual and smart casual attires. Another reason why men need to look after themselves by dressing properly, it is because of this perception that when you dress proper, the world or society at large thinks of you as a responsible accountable man.

How can they tell you may ask? Well, the answer is in the detail and the way you dress. There are a group of people who will look at your from top to bottom and make a fast conclusion about who you may be. The way you dress certainly impacts the person you are ever day. For example, when a young man wears a fitted suit and suddenly goes to an Office where the CEO sits, the CEO will look responsible and be accountable for his mistakes due to the way he dresses compared to a young man who drinks a lot and suddenly appears in an office with his intoxicated drunkard state wearing sloppy ripped jeans and has an awful breath, the people internally at the Company will not entertain such a man who looks like a hobo and will be shown out of the building immediately. The last reason why it is very important for men to take good care of themselves, it is because you start to feel confident in yourself. There is a common saying that says “When you look good, you feel good” and I agree because every man has that special dress code stored in the wardrobe that actually allows a man to be more confident at work, school or home. Nothing beats a confident man who knows what he wants and reflects that by the way he dresses. For example, in my situation, suits are the go to style for me and my ticket towards confidence when I put on my suit, suddenly I feel unstoppable, happy and myself as well as self-motivated to do what I want to do and go after my dreams and goals in life.
