Why Men Must Fathom That Certain Styles Can Bring Positive And Negative Moods?

Men should get this fact on their minds that what they wear every day can either result in them having a positive mood or a negative mood towards other people. The truth is that men are free to select any styles that pleases them but they must understand that these styles can affect their wellbeing at work, home or anywhere.

This blog post will describe and list the type of styles that allow men to fully fathom why each style can result in a man having a good mood or a terrible sour mood.

Formal styles can lead to some men having a foul mood due to the fact that they don’t feel comfortable in such a style (Even negative feedback from the public front that a suit does not look good on him can lead to a bad mood)

Formal styles can lead to some men having a foul mood due to the fact that they don’t feel comfortable in such a style and this is attributed to several factors such as inadequate money to buy formal styles, style preferences and the environment they are in such as a rural area where men usually have jobs that don’t require an office round up style.

Formal styles are classic, dapper, elegant, timeless and compromises of ties, suspenders, suits, dress shirts and belts. A formal style is a properly tailored attire that is suitable for formal events such as Weddings, Funerals and even job interviews that are of a formal nature such as office posts and white collar jobs. There are men who hate a formal outfit and admire dressing casually all the time and there is nothing people can do about that. What can piss a man to a point of getting irritated is that he was emotionally hurt by negative comments and the fact that he thinks a suit is uncomfortable yet the truth is that it is not. It is just unfamiliar to him.

“People always ask me what trends are but I am not a believer in trends. Individuality is more important to me and that to stand out one must have confidence to wear what feels comfortable, it just happens. I feel comfortable in a suit”

Quote by David Gandy(Classy Model)

This just shows that not wearing a suit is an excuse to some men, you can still feel positive in a suit.

People who talk badly about your formal style don’t deserve to tell you what to wear. Men must just eschew such bad publicity because if it goes to their heads, it can affect their performance. Not all people will like your style and that is fine.

Casual styles that have light vibrant colors can lead to men having a positive mood (Thus, colors like green, red, blue, white, orange and yellow can uplift a man’s mood to be positive)

Bright colors have the power to stimulate energy and make a man happy as a dog with a bone. Men must not take these colors for granted and the color you select on your casual style can bring happy thoughts or dig out painful memories. There is a study called “THE PSYCHOLOGY OF COLOR” and one called “DOPAMINE DRESSING” that contribute to how we can react and feel about the colors our naked eyes can see.

Each color reflects a certain emotion or behavior, for example, research proves that the color black shows negativity, seriousness and anger and that is right as rain. Men who love wearing all black from head to toe should take a moment and think about this because if they wear this color too often, people might have a perception that you a bad guy who like darkness. Although on the real world, color is just color but in the world of fashion, the colors you choose can symbolize the mood people will pounce on you. Thus adding color on an outfit results in a man feeling positive and further motivating the man to keep wearing outfits that contain some spark and light tone color combinations without going overboard by wearing lots of colors like the Joker from Gotham who wears bright orange suits and bright ties that contain flamboyant textures and colorful prints.

Conclusion

In the end, it all boils down to what the man prefers to wear but for guidance and how to look the part especially if planning to be in a positive mood all day long, men must fathom these two factors: formal styles can lead to a foul mood to men who don’t feel comfortable wearing formal apparel hence selecting casual styles easily allows men to be in a positive mood. (Casual style is easy to wear relatively and the right colors are light warm bright tones because light reflects radiance and a positive beam)

I recommend men to read more about how fashion affects their wellbeing and mood in this article written by an Expert- https://www.theupcoming.co.uk/2020/02/21/how-fashion-impacts-mens-wellbeing-and-mood/

The styles below indicate a positive mood or a negative mood. The suit allows a man to appear positive and the casual style allows a man to be positive but the difference it is the factor of COMFORT. Even a suit can lead to a negative mood.

I think if you’re in a good mood anything that you wear can make you look good. Happiness comes form inside isn’t it? But its true that good clothes really have some good impact.

Exactly Ria😀. Happiness is an internal feeling but even good clothes can bring happiness just like having lots of money, I would be very happy with a fat bank account. Anyways, Thank you for sharing your opinion, God bless💯

This is an insightful post, Mthobisi. Comfort and colour go hand in hand when it comes to fashion. You put it nicely when you said that an uncomfortable suit is just unfamiliar. Sometimes a suit that doesn’t feel good might mean it’s not a good fit. The colours you wear can send a message not only about how you are feeling, but maybe also a bit about your personality. Some people might prefer wearing certain colours because they resonate more with them. Have you heard about colour analysis sessions? It’s where a stylist matches you with colours that look good on you (based on your outer characteristics) and make you appear and more alive. It seems to be quite the trend in some places. Hope you are doing well 😊

Wow Mabel, I am so happy to read your comment. Actually, No I have not heard of the “Color Analysis” synthesis or experiment conducted by Stylists, this is news to me. I think it is a great thing though since Stylists are professionals who know which colors look good on a man or woman.

Anyways, I am all good Mabel this side and you?? Thank you for sharing your comment and feedback plus thoughts. You are very good at writing a striking comment, keep up the good work Mabel💖👏

Maybe you can check out ‘Colour Analysis’. It’s popular in Asia, and catching on here in Australia for both men and women. I did a colour analysis session last year. The stylist matched me to colour palettes and patterns – all under studio lighting. Very cool 😊

It is alright over here. Always a pleasure to read your thoughts. I hope you continue to share what you are passionate about. You write beautifully about fashion and style, Mthobisi 🙏
