4 Obstacles Men Accustomed To Casual Style Will Face In Reality

Obstacles are challenges and hurdles that are placed in our paths and they are the defining moment of real life. At work, obstacles can be not meeting deadlines and not getting new clients. At home, obstacles can be not being able to have a healthy relationship with your parents and siblings and even fighting. In the world of men’s fashion and style, challenges can be not knowing what to wear and what style looks proper to be taken seriously. When it comes to casual style, the obstacles men will encounter include: recruiters not taking you seriously, looking ordinary, your style is not convincing and lastly opportunities pass you by since they need a man who looks ready for the real world. This blog post will dive into all four of these issues.

1. Recruiters won’t take your style seriously

In reality, recruiters when conducting interviews with potential candidates will be on the lookout for men who mean business and men who dress like they were made for this position. For example, a recruiter alongside the Human Resource Team are unlikely to hire a man who wears a jeans and a T-shirt plus shorts to a job interview but they are likely to hire a man who puts an effort in his dress code by wearing suits and decent clothes which nail first impressions. Wearing a decent and proper outfit for a crucial job interview it is key because the man looks competent, professional and confident. Hence, need to stop wearing casual pieces all the time even to job interviews since it doesn’t project seriousness.

2. You look ordinary

Another challenge men who always wear casual style will face, it is feeling ordinary. Casual wear is a relaxed outfit and one almost every guy has in his personal wardrobe but when it comes to real life opportunities, possibilities and chances, wearing casual at formal gatherings is seen as ordinary and a lack of commitment. Hence, I urge men to desist from wearing casual style like a plague and run into formal styles because they look devoted and ready for progress as well as serious.

3. Your casual style is not convincing

Convincing dress codes are formal ones for better or worse and a man must fathom that in real life, people respond highly to a man who dresses sharp in formal apparel and is treated with the utmost respect and even called “Sir”. Thus, men must understand that casual style is playful and in front of the big guns, it is not a convincing look especially when delivering a public presentation on stage with lots of eyes looking up to the man on top. Hence, a formal business formal or business casual style at least is a necessity.

4. Opportunities will pass you by since you are not dressed for success

The last challenge that comes attached with causal style, it is that real opportunities pass you by when wearing casual style day in and day out. To get and grab opportunities doesn’t need men to only wear suits but it needs man to drop wearing fully casual pieces like a hot potato and begin wearing sharp pieces such as ties, dress shirts and blazers as well as waistcoats and dress shoes that never go out of style. Believe me, opportunities will come to you and you will answer the call wh

Conclusion

  • 1. Recruiters won’t take your style seriously
  • 2. You look ordinary and not like a man with extraordinary goals
  • 3. Your style is not convincing since it looks unprofessional compared to men in suits and formal apparel
  • 4. Opportunities will duck you since you don’t look ready for success
