A man who is used to fashion and style is bound to experience stress whilst in the process of wearing outfits that will look good and ensure the fit is spot on since fit is king. Stress can be defined as a negative experience and the major causes of stress be it financial or operational lead to depression, anxiety, lack of sleep, insomnia and cardiovascular diseases. In the fashion world, a man who always dresses superb at one point or the other experiences stress that can affect his mental and physical overall health.

This blog post will explain techniques that are effective and medically proven in studies to reduce and manage stress. These are the methods that assist a man to diminish really high levels of stress in the fashion and style world for men who admire clothing all the time.

1. Engaging in physical activity

This is one method that is effective in the process of stress management and it does allow a man at the end of the day to be as happy as a family of bees in a huge honey pot. A man needs to realize that in life, clothing is not the entire thing and dressing in luxury and the finest fabrics can be a strenuous or a daunting thing leading to stress. Thus, a man accustomed to fashion and style understands that life needs one to save money and this is the disadvantage of loving clothes impulsively, it can cost the man money because some of these latest trends and cloth are expensive , not to mention the brands. Therefore, to ensure you don’t stress too much as a man needs the man to engage in physical activities that are a stress buster. The exercise activities can include: Intensive workouts at the gym, yoga or going for a walk during the mornings helps reduces stress because of the sweat glands that will be pouring down like rain which enables the body to feel good and active.

2. Mindfulness and meditation

A man who adores looking dapper needs to also consider the aspect of meditation and mindfulness whilst in the process of dressing up for work, for brunch or meeting with friends later. Stress happens in today’s fast paced world infused with negative news we see circulating social media. Hence, a man must practice at least for a period of 30 minutes to be mindful which means focusing on the moment and that can be done by closing your eyes. Meditation on the other hand, it is the process of focusing your mind to achieve mental clarity and emotional stability. These exercises ensure a man remains calm as a cucumber without succumbing to stress that can lead to depression. A man who is depressed whilst in the process of looking good will not enjoy the company of people. Hence, meditating in a quiet place allows the mind to think clearly and emotions become positive in the end leading to a man smiling whilst in the midst of a world filled with depressing media

3. Eating healthy and getting sufficient sleep

This is the last technique that affects a man’s life especially the one who is used to fashion and style. When a man over thinks something, in this case , thinking too much about the new trendy outfits that one needs can be a depressing act. A man must comprehend that in life, wearing expensive garments won’t fulfill your life. Therefore to reduce stress and squash those depressing thoughts, a man must focus on his physical and mental health by eating healthy and getting 8-9 hours of sleep because adequate sleep impacts productivity, sharpens the mind and boosts overall health.
