Quiet Luxury is a term that simple means wearing clothes that are devoid of logos and anything ostentatious or flashy. This is a term that focuses on stealth wealth and the variety of clothing that are devoid of logos, meaning clothes with no logos and don’t draw in any attention. Suits which are my long time favorite cloth and personal favorite fall under quiet luxury.
This blog post will submit and explain the reasons why it is essential for men to wear suits and the different type of suits and colors appropriate for looking like quiet luxury.
1. Black Slim Fit Suits
According to Jacob Osborne on an article online, the slim fit suit is a type of suit that gets a man a stylish fitting style that is narrow at the waist and chest but not to the point of blocking blood flow. For this suit which is a casual fashion style is proper for men looking to head to the boardroom but not wanting to look super serious. I believe, a black color on this slim fit suit does the trick and for accessories, a watch and a pocket square in colorful pastels(or white pocket square presidential fold) adds style to the suit without the suit appearing too flamboyant
For more information about the type of suits, visit https://manofmany.com/fashion/mens-fashion-advice/types-of-suits-for-men/ , although slim fit suits are casual and not really suited for boardroom settings, I believe, a man can look sharp and luxurious in a black slim fit suit because black is a color of status, wealth and the most formal colors in the market.
2. Classic Suits Fit (Possibly Navy Blue ones)
This is a suit that is comfortable in feel and unfettered by design. This suit is called “Classic Suit” because of the appearance, it looks timeless and the fabric is of utmost quality which can last for years. A navy blue, brown, black and grey classic suit, with double or a single vent and has a standard collar design on the lapel is a great suit that looks clean and not at all fancy or ostentatious. For the man in the working field, for example the one who works a 9am to 5pm office job as an Accountant or a Clerk or Admin, this is the appropriate formal suit for work.
3. Notch lapel suits (Popular during the 80s)
According to an article by Jacob, this notch lapel is a mainstay on single breasted suits. This suit has indent visible lapel that meets the collar and this lapel is fitting for the boardroom as much as it is for the cocktail lounge. This suit is appropriate for formal gatherings like dinners, conferences, award ceremonies and key events that need a man to look sharp without drawing in too much attention. Hence, a black notch lapel suit fit is the best color for quiet luxury.
4. Single Breasted Suits
This a common suit and the most universal suit. This is an attire that is easily spotted and is characterized by the inclusion of one to two to three buttons along the seam. This is a suit that is a norm in the business world and the majority of men who go to work wear this suit. This suit is not as costly as the double breasted suit that has a plethora of buttons ranging from six. I own a Navy blue single breasted suit and I personally admire it since it looks neat and professional, hence men must buy one.
