5 Must Have Items For Men That Complete The Formal Look

Formal looks are outfits that are elegant, classy, neat and dapper. Generally speaking, formal outfits are ideal to be worn during formal occasions and events. To master the art of formal wear, needs a man to invest in five items that complete the formal look. This blog post will list and elaborate on those five items that are imperative in a man’s wardrobe.

1. Solid trousers like chinos (Plus belts)

One clothing item that is a must have, it is the trouser which is the chino pants worn with belts as a supporting piece. Chinos are trousers made from fabrics such as cotton if not wool and they come in an array of colors such as navy blue, red, brown, grey, white and black which are ideal colors for looking formal. Chino trousers come in handy when aiming to look dapper in business formal which is a dress code that requires formal pieces like solid long pants, blazers, solid dress shirts worn with neckties and for footwear nice formal shoes such as brogues or loafers. Also, chino trousers are affordable compared to suits which cost humongous amounts of money.

2. Solid bowties or neckties

A necktie is a cloth that symbolizes order, nobility and honor and a man needs to invest in such an item because it ensures a man looks good when going to work, to formal events, funerals and interviews that need a man to dress properly and on point. If neckties are not your cup of tea, don’t sweat it gents, we do have bowties available and they are just as formal as a regular long necktie. Shoes like brogues in black or brown are perfect in this scenario and the advantage is they look formal and classy in suits. As for boots, if you love them, buy black boots they fit in the definition of formal menswear.

5. An odd vest or a waistcoat

A waistcoat is still called a vest and odd vests are sold separately but the advantage of them is, they can be worn with suits or better yet some three piece suits come with the vest hence they are more formal by design.
