There are ironclad values that are associated with wearing a suit and such values are essential in the life of a man. Values can be looked at as good deeds and great insights. In regards to men’s fashion and style , there are ironclad values linked with suits and this blog post will list and elaborate all of them which are key in helping men not only dress better but practice executing those values.
1. Integrity
In some job advertisements, the recruiters when looking to hire a potential candidate are on the lookout for a person with integrity. Integrity can be described as having morals and principles that you abide by. This trait is one that some companies are looking for because the company doesn’t want to witness risks such as bankruptcy, theft and others that can take the company backwards. Hence, some can require that candidate to provide police clearance documents to see if any illegal or wrongful acts were committed in the past.
In terms of men’s style, the best way to nail the job is to first dress the part and that will involve wearing a suit in colors like Navy blue, black or grey because those are proper colors for professional appearances. The suit will tell recruiters that you look like a man of integrity and doing so ensures you become successful by dressing sharp and doing exactly what the Human Resource team says.
2. Empathy
According to an article titled “WHAT IS EMPATHY?” by Kendra Cherry, it says empathy is the ability to understand what the other person is feeling, from their own point of view, imagine yourself in their shoes, meaning putting yourself in their shoes. The article goes on and on about signs, types and pitfalls as written on the article on this URL – https://www.verywellmind.com/what-is-empathy-2795562
In regards to men’s fashion, a man wearing a suit is perceived as a person with empathy and knows what it is like to have no money or clothes. A man in a suit looks rich and the best way to attach to this value of empathy is to help others even if it is donating clothes, giving back to charity and doing so ensures your heart has empathy. A man who is able to feel what the other person is feeling falls under this type of empathy called Somantic Empathy. Hence, I urge men in suits to have empathy.
3. Honesty
Honesty is exactly like integrity because it is a trait that needs a man to stay true to his word. An honest man doesn’t lie because that violates the meaning of the word. Take for example the parrot, it is an animal that talks and blogs say parrots do know what they are saying and studies on parrot intelligence prove that. This is to say, a man must be as honest as a parrot well at least partially and the best way to project that image it is to wear a fitted suit.
4. Loyalty
Okay this is a debatable one and many people have their own opinions about it. Some say men are not loyal as they should be and others say only a minority of men in this world are loyal to their jobs, partners and families. I think to be seen as a man who is loyal dress the part, people will be curious about the man in a suit and even think he is trustworthy.

Thanks for this insightful piece. There’s something about suits and the perception of integrity; something I noticed way back when I was a youth. If there was a youth wearing a suit among others casually dressed, say for an occasion like a seminar or party, attention and respect seemed to go naturally to the one in the suit. And I made it a point when I got out of college to attend every job interview in a suit – by the way I had just four of them in my career and those four places worked in. Now in my fifties, I usually dress in a suit to compliment my hoary head whenever I am driving on a long journey, especially from Tororo to Entebbe. My brother asked me why I do so and I told him that the traffic police usually respect men in suits, more especially with gray hair. Even if I make a mistake on the highway, they are bound to forgive me.
That’s it the power of a suit and grey is my color.
Thanks for the reminder, for as I age, I sometimes become a little clumsy thinking that I have to make the most of every day left of my life.
