Reading this book titled “DARE TO DREAM” by author Obert Manyanye has challenged my thoughts on the matter especially the topic about rewarding yourself. The subject of reward which is also called compensation is one that every person wants because when you reward yourself for the work you do, you create an awareness to do more and get more. There are benefits of dressing sharp as a man that can lead to rewards which can motivate a man to keep doing it.
This blog post will explain three rewards that normally occur when you dress sharp as a man.
1. Dressing sharp is inspiring and others look towards you
This is one basic reason and reward a sharp dressed man accumulates which is inspiration. A man who looks sharp is one who dresses elegantly in suits, sports jackets and dress shirts that looks fine and well put together. Those who don’t normally dress like this will be inspired to see a man in a suit because he looks like the boss and he looks like he has money which can draw both men and women in the way of inspiration. This reward is non monetary but the benefits are one to appreciate and not take for granted because the younger crowd looks up to you and will one day dress the way you do
2. Dressing sharp can lead to monetary opportunities
It is also possible that when a man dresses sharp, he receives rewards that are monetary in the form of cash, cheques, promotions and sponsorships. Such rewards are meaningful and can make a man happy and motivated to keep pushing. How does attain such rewards? Well through putting in the work by dressing sharp and then going out there to grab these rewards and fighting tooth and nail for them. Those who enter competitions to be a Model, TV Presenter, Media Personality and even sport competitions where one walks away with a prize such as a medal or cash. These people dress the part to project an image of proper presentation and to tell themselves that they dressed up because they are in it to win it.
3. Dressing sharp is one way to enjoy your hard work
The book I was reading titled “DARE TO DREAM” was touching on the importance of enjoying life and ensuring your hard labour doesn’t go to waste. Indeed the author is correct because at the end of the day after accumulating all that success you will die, so why not enjoy and live a little?

Yes to all these points! I also wrote about the importance of dressing smart years ago. I really believe dressing sharp shows self-respect and consideration for others, especially when you’re going to an important meeting. I need to add that book on my reading list. Thanks for the reco!
