How to dress like a professional as a man in the corporate field without suits?

The corporate field is quite a complex one for both men and women included. This field requires determination, team work, mental acuity and education to be able to climb the corporate ladder as they usually say it. A corporation can be defined as a group of people who come together to create a single entity.

Now to dress like a professional just like those accredited Lawyers, Investment Bankers, Legal Advisors, CFOs, CEOs, Marketing Manager and other pro titles needs a man to invest in professional looking pieces such as formal dress shirts, suits, belts, boots, watches and nice dress shoes, sweaters such as V neck that can be worn with a white dress shirt and solid necktie (See featured image) and neatly worn work attire.

1. Invest in one or two pieces in black for your sharp outfits

Black is one of the most formal colors and for good reason, it is classy and quite a professional color. In some countries, they usually wear black ⬛ when attending a funeral or in mourning yet for others they wear white, it all depends on which state you reside in. In terms of the corporate world, to reach that level of being a legit pro, needs a man to invest in his education and also his wardrobe. A black sweater is one way to look like that with a white dress shirt and tie without wearing a suit or a blazer. The trousers I think jeans(optional) or chino pants are fine and for the shoes wear brogues or boots instead of black formal shoes.

2. Instead of the suit, wear a white dress shirt without the tie with plain suspenders and formal trousers (for hot weather conditions)

This is another way to add some style to your corporate wear and that is instead of wearing a full suit with a tie, do wear a white dress shirt with plain suspenders(As illustrated above) such as navy blue, red or black instead of the belt and you can show off your formal wear with those braces or suspenders and this outfit is ideal for hot weather conditions whereby a suit or a blazer is not required but you still want to dress like a professional.

It depends on the type of corporations you work for because some provide their staff with a dress code they must abide by and wear all the times when they go to work. However, some agencies don’t have a dress code and as Former Employee for an advertising agency , there really wasn’t a dress code, they gents wore their usual casual clothing but you can step up your work wear even if you’re are not into the corporate field with pieces such as suspenders, watches and shades but keep it simple and professional.

3. Tuck in your shirts

Corporate men wear suits as usual and these are the Lawyers, CFOs, CEOs, Managers and Supervisors and even Interns , they dress sharp and neat. It is just how the corporate world is, everyone there represents the company so they must look proper for incoming clients and businesses opportunities, business investors and tourists who happen to pass by. This is to say, the men need to tuck in their shirts, a Manager doesn’t need to wear a suit but he can ruck in his shirts to look professional.
