Dressing cordial is actually dressing nice. Cambridge Dictionary and Oxford Dictionaries define the word “Cordial” as friendly, warm but polite as well as formal. When it comes to a man looking great, he needs to practice wearing nice pieces so that dressing cordially for him become a walk in the park. This blog post will point six methods that are guaranteed to assist a man to dress cordial leading to the process being a no brainer.
1. Wear a watch
An article by fashion beans which can be accessed via this link – https://fashionbeans.com/article-how-to-dress-well-men/, gives one solutions about the need of wearing a watch. A watch is like a piece of art, it says a lot about a person and the best way to acquire one it is to go for the right size that will fit your wrist and you need to be practical whilst buying one. The watch should be an accessory a man can wear in almost all his dress codes such as black tie, business formal, cocktail attire and ultra casual. I believe that of all the accessories that are gracious and look great in the eye, a watch is a must have plus it guides you so that you become punctual.
2. Grooming is a skillful tactic in dressing nice
Recently, I wrote a blog post titled “6 WAYS TO DRESS LIKE A HIGH LEVEL ACHIEVER AS A STYLISH MAN” and grooming was one of those ways. Grooming is about self care in particular the skin that needs to be maintained by bathing, cutting your finger nails, looking after the hair and shave the beard(optional) if it is too long or thick. This is super practical and easy because it ensures you look nice. Truly taking care of yourself as a stylish man yields many returns because for one you get welcomed everywhere you set foot in.
3. Invest in dark colored boots
I like boots, one is that they give me extra height as a man and secondly, they are warm plus versatile especially when styling clothes during winter or cold days. Chelsea boots for instance are a must have especially the darker colors like black because it is a proper color for looking nice and it will match even a nice suit on a cold day. Also, dark boots can be dressed down with jeans dark colored, crew neck sweater, suede jackets and other casual jackets that are out there.
4. Mix and match your accessories
Okay this is for adding fashion sense to your closet and that is don’t be shy but be super confident when styling your clothes. Firstly, when wearing formal wear, wear not just the watch but mix it with a bracelet , necklace and or rings because it shows that you are not afraid of being flamboyant, interesting and cool. However, this rule here is a bit tricky because if you don’t tone it down with your accessories you will overdo it. Thus, 2 or 3 accessories are all that’s needed here not five to ten.
5. Apply good smelling perfumes
I have talked about fragrances and wrote countless blogs about the need of spraying perfumes. By the way, do read my blog post titled “Looking good should be accompanied with pleasant perfumes” and your eyes will be wide open about how to apply perfumes and when to apply them so that you not only dress nice daily but you smell nice daily too.
6. Plan the day before which outfit you will wear
This one is significant because if you want to always shine and look proper, select the outfit the night before because it saves you time plus it shows that you are putting in the effort in looking the part. Yes, you won’t dress nice daily since some work in environments that are different thus suits won’t be a daily bread for some but you can pish up you can polish up your dress code through ironing, preparing and placing all the day before.
