Easter events will be kicking in around the month of April 2023 and given that these celebrations are sacred to others, I saw it appropriate to blog about the proper dress codes men need to wear to be in line with the real meaning of Easter. Research shows that Easter is an ancient pagan celebration of the Spring Equinox.
Easter is an important event for religions such as Christianity because it is the time where we honor the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Jewish honored him while he was alive in this world during the passover. Brands such as food outlets advertise the so called “EASTER EGGS” but the meaning of those eggs aren’t just for pleasure but for the symbol of the ancient Babylonian.
In terms of dress codes, here are 2 outfit pieces men need to wear for such prominent and sacred events:
1. Smart Casual Dress Code
The Easter celebrations are centered on spring festivities and what better way to dress properly as a man than a smart casual style. Here , shorts are not required but go for solid pants such as chino trousers and opt for springtime colors such as green, brown, yellow and pink as well as orange. If you have a floral shirt or a patterned shirt especially a long sleeve is ideal, pair it with chinos in solid colors like grey and for the shoes loafers are appropriate. Belts are also required and a watch is an obvious accessory to wear.
2. Business Casual Dress Code
Another pertinent dress code a man can pull off it is the business casual dress code. If you have a sports jacket or a Blazer, have a solid trouser like grey or blue , bring in a white or a pastel pink dress shirt and for the shoes , wear the same loafers preferably those in brown or blue colors, even white sneakers and boots work in this type of dress code depending on the weather conditions but such shoes are worth it.

- Brown or blue loafers
- Bright dress shirts such a white & pink
- A belt
- Solid trousers like chinos
- A watch
