There is this belief and assumption that when you talk of fashion, you talk of showing off how expensive your taste is or you dress fashionable with the trendiest brands on the market just to win a girl and even impress her yet that is not the case. Fashion is more than just clothing, trends, expensive brands and cool things but it is a description of who you are, what you represent and what you stand for.

Here are things men need to throw on the wayside and avoid in order to improve their style and fashion sense:

1. Don’t wear clothes with the motive of showing off to your buddies

This in all honesty sounds childish because clothing is just clothing at the end of the day and in order to be a man who is kind and thoughtful, dress your best clothes with the intention of improving yourself and by so doing other people get motivated and even the young men see you as their role model with a great sense of style so that one day, they too get to dress like that. To show off to your friends actually makes your friends to begin resenting and hating you and they see you as nothing more than being arrogant and an enemy. So cut off that motive to dress to show off instead be an influencer and a great friend.

2. Don’t waste money buying stuff you don’t need just to look cool

Indeed, this is another reason why a man who has good intentions for their fashion sense to never think of flushing money down the toilet by buying clothing pieces they don’t need just to be seen as a cool guy. Doing so, is evident that you are trying too hard to impress your friends or girls and that also shows that you are unhappy with your life. Better to buy clothing pieces you need without exhausting your bank account which will hurt you in the process since you will be cash poor. The best way to impress people if that is your intention is to just be yourself.

3. Don’t show people how much money you have on social media and how many brands you own

This point can be affiliated and linked to pint number 2 and it is so true. The word of God says do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing because that takes away the blessing. It is significant that when you decide to impress a person do it discrete. These days people are too revealing about their lives, they post about their lives and that can be a bad thing because you will lose respect and people will get to use that against you(you don’t want to create unnecessary enemies). No matter how much money you have and it is itching you, never show it on your socials, such sensitive stuff needs to be kept hidden. Improve from this habit if you happen to do it often.
