It really is not that expensive to own a couple of accessories in your wardrobe as a man with fashion and style sense. Accessories are like spices you add in your food to ensure that the meal not only tastes palatable but also ensures that the meal looks appealing to even a guest who would love to give it a bite.
There are literally a vast majority of accessories out there in the market and so many options are available to men ranging from formal wear accessories such as bow ties, watches and cufflinks to casual wear accessories such as panama hats, watches, sunglasses, t-shirts and boots. This blog will distribute the need of owning five accessories especially in your casual wear namely: Panama hats, T-shirts, Watch, Sunglasses and a pair of Boots.
1. Panama hats
In 2021, I published a blog post about “Hats can upgrade your style” and I wrote about the types of hats we have such as: Ascot hat, Newsboy hat, Flap Cap and Beanies but for the purpose of this blog, I will do an in depth analysis on Panama hats. Panama hats have been around for centuries and are just an elegant plus timeless fashion piece that men wore at the start of the 20th century and they have been worn by even prominent people such as Presidents, Actors on screen and off screen and celebrities worldwide and even a regular man who want to dress without breaking the bank can wear a Panama hat. This hat is just made from a breathable fabric and it is ideal for the spring and summer months. According to Google, this panama hats are the seaside and tropical accessories men would wear at the beach hence they are superb for extremely hot days.
2. T-shirts
T-shirts can be defined as a casual light item that is usually made from cotton and this is a very soft fabric. T-shirts date back to the 19th century when American laborers cut their jumpsuits to cope with the Summer heat. The first T-shirt was invented during the Spanish American War in 1898 and was used as an undergarment. In nowadays, t-shirts are not only used as an undergarment but as an accessory you can dress it up alone even with a panama hat and a nice blazer to look classy and elegant. T-shirts are the best causal item a man can ever own.
3. Watch
Okay as a man of style I can tell you that owning or let alone buying a watch is a lifesaver. It is not just an accessory but it is a relationship with time, when you have a watch on you are never late in most situations because the clock is there to guide you and if you work in an environment such as teaching you are a Teacher, a watch saves you from being late for teaching lessons and even students now that the academic year has begun wear a watch to also be early when going to class. Watches date back to the 16th and 17th century and the first watch was made by a clockmaker called Peter Henlein from Nuremberg.
4. Sunglasses😎
Switching to upper body part of the face, the eyes which need to be protected from the sun rays thus the need of having shades on. Sunglasses come in a variety of sizes, styles, shapes and colors. According to https://www.pinkvilla.com, there are many sunglasses for men such as Aviator sunglasses, Club Master sunglasses and Wayfare shades etc.. Sunglasses as a stylish man are an obvious accessory to own.
5. Boots
Last on the list of accessories to buy without breaking the bank it’s boots. Boots are an essential footwear in nowadays and they are my favorite footwear because of the stupendous benefits they carry such as boots make you look taller as a tree they provide ease when working and for rainy days they protect your ankles and feet plus they withstand the slippery roads. Also, boots will never let you down in scoring points in an outing with friends or dates.

I love all of theses items. I do have a panama hat but sadly have never worn it on more than a couple of occasions. I will have to change this as it really can make such a difference to your image. Very cool and sophisticated, thanks for the reminder.

I love me a good pair of boots. Had always been into workboots, but couldn’t afford much. The only good pair I ever bought, Redwings Heritage, still look almost new a decade in. So worth the money, imo. Watches are amazing too, and they last forever (mechanical, especially). Thing is, that’s another pricy accessory. But then again, worth the investment. Anyway, thanks for this post!
