How to pull off suspenders with a floral shirt?

Suspenders are a classic accessory that every stylish man can pull off and it is a must have for bigger and obese men. The advantage of suspenders other than they are stylish and classy, they do a wonderful job in holding your pants or trousers up. This blog will discuss the how to pull of suspenders with a casual shirt which is the floral shirt.

The type of suspenders

This is one aspect to look into if you want to pull off this style nicely, there are usually two types of suspenders; the button down suspender and the clip on suspender. The button down suspender has been there for a long time, it dates back to the 80s and 90s , when belts weren’t available, men wore suspenders to hold their trousers up. The most formal suspender was the button down suspender and it usually had it’s own set of trousers yet the clip on suspender was the most casual and formal also, this suspender is just easy to wear, it clips on trousers hence it is called the clip on suspender and one of my favorite in my wardrobe.

Colorful clip on suspenders will look great with any floral shirt

As you can see from the above picture , I am wearing clip on suspenders that are white in color, the colorful suspenders are the best to go for because the shirt is a casual shirt thus the more colorful an outfit is the more casual. For the spring and summer time , I recommend white, red, green and yellow as your colors of suspenders, with the trousers , it is best to wear long sleeve pants that have rich colors such as blue, brown, white or even black chinos or linen trouser or even a suit trouser just like I did wear one, for the shoes, I suggest loafers or boat shoes are just perfect. I actually don’t suggest shorts and suspenders unless the shorts are linen shorts.

When buying suspenders make sure you can adjust them to fit your body size
