I just want to confess that today is no ordinary Day for me. Today I am adding another year and I can’t be happier to express my best picks of how to dress up for such an annual occasion and most importantly thanking the Lord God Almighty for gi me another year to live which is more vital in this planet than dressing up.

A birthday comes once a year and in order to look stylish for such an event you need the right pieces of clothing to look your very best.
1. Look dapper with a suit
I love suits and for me this is my go to for looking stylish, sharp and dapper during such a celebration. A fitted suit in any rich color of your choice will instantly level up your appearance. The best colors for a suit in my opinion are : Navy Blue, White, Green, Grey, Black, Red and Purple.
2. Look dapper whilst casually dressed
If you don’t own a suit yet , don’t sweat it there are still plenty of options to explore in your wardrobe to utilise to look dapper for your birthday.
Below are example of items you can select for your dapper appearance. (NB: You can still dapper even when casually dressed)
- Denim jacket pair with a solid T-shirt underneath or colourful shirt add chinos to the mix and last for the shoes go for loafers.
- Floral shirt with linen trousers/chinos and loafer shoes
- Blazer with linen shorts and white sneakers/loafers(Of course depending on the weather, this look is for sunny days)
- Sports jacket /suit jacket with a Turtleneck , odd pants and boots/dress shoes. (This look is ideal for cold days).

Look sparkling with a a hat, any hat of your choice like a panama hat which will protect your head from Sun burns. Go for sunglasses, pocket squares, necklaces, bracelets, rings, watches and bags.
